Beach Clean!

Beach Clean

Hey bloggers
On the 27th of September the senior syndicate of Waikowhai Primary School walked down to Waikowhai Bay for a Beach Clean. We had signs and chants that we made. As we Walked down we called out the chants and held our signs up proud. Waikowhai senior syndicate couldn't make it to the Climate Change March that day so we were doing our own thing for our community. When we got to the beach there was barely anyone there, so we got to work.

We were split into groups and all the groups got a separate part of the beach each to clean. My group was given a part of the beach with lots of steep banks and rock for us to climb on. It was really sad to see that there was so much fishing wire and other things in between the rocks. Me and my friend Zoe decided to go climb the steep banks that surrounded the bay, we found a big tyre, lots of plastic bottles, and even a little stream. After we had finished we walked back to school and talked about what we had done.
Blog you latter!

  1. Good job. I like the way you explained what you did and how you were in different groups. It was fun. It was really interesting.

  2. I liked how you wrote the end very nicely and I liked how you thought that it was sad that there was rubbish on top of the rocks. Good Job Neeve
