Choir Concert

Choir Concert

Hey Blogger,
On tuesday the 26th of November All of the APPA choir practise payed of as we performed at the Auckland Town Hall. My favorite song that we  sung was a Les Miserable Medley.  There were four soloists and they all did really well. During the Medley some people bust into the Hall with red flags shouting, Freedom, Revolution, Liberty, and Equality. We sung a whole lot of different songs from jazz to pop.

The Unveiling

Hey bloggers,
On the fourth of November Waikowhai Primary School after a lot of hard work we finally unveiled our Cultural People art, our Friendship Garden and our new School Song. Some of the parents from our school wrote a song that has now become our school song. We all really like it and it is great. With our cultural people as you might already know each class got two cultures, a boy and a girl. We had to look at what the culture that we were given wore. As we were finishing singing our new song the oldest student and the youngest student  cut the ribbon and opened the garden. There is a memorial tree because of the Christchurch terrorist attack as well as a bench and it has a plaque reminding us to be Kind.
It was a great afternoon and I enjoyed it alot.
